It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Councillor Jenny Melville yesterday following a brave fight with illness. Jenny represented North Walsham West Ward, and was an important and respected member of the Town Council for 6 years, joining in May 2015. Prior to becoming a councillor Jenny was a valued member of the Regenerate North Walsham Group
During her years as a councillor she sat on the Safer Neighbourhood Action Panel as well as the Personnel and Grants, Development and Amenities and  Christmas Lights Committees.
She will be greatly missed by us all, especially for her work campaigning for the elderly and disabled in the town, her legacy will undoubtedly live on.
